Transport Media and Wonderland Events are working in tandem to facilitate a central London brand presence for the golden beer of Desperados infused with aromatic tequila compounds.
In conjunction with a PR event to be held at the character-filled East London venue of MC Motors on the 6th and 7th June, the brand will traverse the streets of the city thanks to a fleet of branded taxis. Commencing on the 28th May, a campaign comprising superside and tipseat adverts will be in operation for four weeks, including the collection and transportation of VIP guests and Desperados staff from Heathrow Airport, Gatwick Airport and St Pancras station to MC Motors followed by the Queen of Hoxton bar in Shoreditch.
A background cityscape is overlaid with glowing, larger-than-life Desperados bottles which burst from behind the central brand logo, underlined by the descriptive text ‘tequila flavoured beer’. The image nods to the enduring social media craze of filtered images and vignetted framing, giving Desperados a boost to its target audience of London socialites.
Leading outdoor media specialists Transport Media hold a wealth of experience in the taxi advertising sector, covering everything from branded receipts through to fullly wrapped fleets. With the PR occasion organised by Wonderland Events, Transport Media are fully equipped to supply vehicular promotion, complete with the integration of guest transportation.
Superside adverts across the iconic cab platform will guarantee a presence for Desperados amongst a cosmopolitan London audience, with the combined tipseat format allowing a thorough brand extension for an influential audience riding inside the vehicles – 71% of whom are ABC1 passengers. The collection of passengers from the arranged locations will supplement the campaign with additional coverage at key transport hubs of the city, with Heathrow, Gatwick and St Pancras offering a combined annual footfall of 127 million travellers.
